Alex Rodriguez didn’t do anything once again, and neither did any of his teammates. Now the Yankees are one loss from another early exit from the playoffs. Back in the cleanup spot, A-Rod was 0-for-3 in New York’s 6-0 loss to the Detroit Tigers in Game 3 on Friday night. He’s 1-for-11 in the first three games of the best-of-five series, hasn’t driven in a run in 11 playoff games dating to 2004 and is batting .116 (5-for-43) in his last 12 postseason games.
